What is active adult living?

Active adult living is for people 55+ and seniors who wish to live independently while benefiting from the advantages of an enhanced social, cultural and recreational lifestyle. Residents are free from the burdens of home maintenance concerns and have more time to enjoy the things they love.

What should my first step in this process be?

Get to know us! Don’t hesitate to participate in any of our upcoming events. We encourage you to get involved, meet your future neighbors and get a taste of what life is like at Larkspur.

Who is available to help me explore the financial, legal and logistical aspects of moving to a senior living community?

A good place to start is to ask family, friends and trusted advisers for recommendations and help in researching your options. In addition, our senior living specialists can refer you to recommended companies and services that can assist you with everything from packing and downsizing to moving in and decorating.

How do I apply for an apartment?

There are two easy ways to apply:

1.  Stop by or call the community and schedule a tour.  Once you have selected your new home, our friendly staff will assist you with the in office lease signing.

What types of senior living residences are available?

Larkspur offers a wide range of floor plans in one- and two-bedroom options.

Is additional storage space available?

Yes, we have interior climate controlled storage space with a variety of sizes to select from.

Is parking available?

Yes. We offer breezeway garages, detached garages, carports and open parking.

What rental/lease options are available?

There are many options available within the Larkspur At Twin Creeks community to include long term leases, short term Corporate Lease options and well as Snow Bird stays.  Please call or come by and speak to one of our Senior Living Sales Specialists to learn more.

Will I need to carry renters insurance?

Yes. We require a minimum of $100K limited liability.

How do I change my address?

It’s easy! Simply go online to the United States Postal Service website or go into the post office in-person and fill out a change of address form there.

Will you provide any help with moving, downsizing, renting furniture, decorating, etc.?

Yes, we will suggest local realtors, moving companies, furniture rental companies, decorators and storage companies to help make the transition to your new home as smooth and as stress-free as possible.

May I customize my apartment as I wish?

Yes. You’re welcome to furnish and decorate your apartment to suit your tastes
and preferences.

How do I schedule maintenance?

You can schedule service through the resident portal, or you may come into the office where we’ll fill a work order out for you.

What cable/internet/phone options are available?

The local provider is Grande Communications, reachable at 837-238-6891

What electric services are available?

You may use the provider of your choice. Please visit www.powertochoose.org for options in the area.

How do I connect my utilities?

Once you reserve your apartment, and before move in, you’ll be given a welcome letter that contains all of the phone numbers you’ll need to connect your utilities.

How much are the monthly rates?

Rental rates vary, depending on the apartment. Please call our friendly staff for details.

Can I make an online payment?

Yes, you will be shown how to make an easy online rent payment through the resident portal at the time you move in.

What additional expenses should I budget for on a monthly basis?

You will need to budget for electric, water and gas.

What is included in the monthly rent?

In addition to the use and enjoyment of your selected one- or two-bedroom residence, your monthly fees includes a variety of services and amenities, such as complimentary continental breakfast, community activities and programming, Instructor Led Exercise Classes and programming, scheduled transportation services and interior/exterior maintenance, plus access to a host of on-site amenities and community common spaces for family and friend gatherings. Valet Trash service is also included.

Are transportation services available?

Yes, complimentary scheduled transportation is available on our comfortable shuttle bus. You can sign up for transportation for upcoming outings, grocery trips and doctor visits as well as request Lyft service during normal business hours.

Can my grandchildren or other relatives visit? May they use the pool?

Yes, your guests are welcome at Larkspur! You may invite guests to use the pool and other facilities. For complete details, call us for a copy of our Community Policies.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, pets are welcome! At Larkspur at Twin Creeks, we know that your cat or dog is part of your family. Pets can enhance your physical, mental and emotional well-being, inspire a more active social life and lower your stress levels. We offer a reasonable and inviting pet policy.
